Timothy S. Ridge is a proven blacksmith of multiple talents whose speciality is hand forged knives. He makes his living in this trade and is devoted to creating the knives of the past to enhance period impressions of reenactors, private and museum collections.

Tim, a native South Carolinian, began learning his trade as a young boy in the workshop of his father over 40 years ago. As a Longhunter and Civil War reenactor he is seriously concerned with historical accuracy and researches his trade on a regular basis to improve his skills. He is a member of the CLA and the NMLRA.
